The Mission of Heritage Public Library is to provide quality materials and services, which fulfill the educational, informational, cultural, social and recreational needs of the communities we serve in a welcoming atmosphere that is professional, inclusive, and respectful.

The Heritage Public Library proudly serves the surrounding communities of McDonald Borough, Robinson Township, Mt. Pleasant Township, Midway Borough, and the Fort Cherry School District.

What We Offer
Your library card is free and gives you access to a large collection of books, audio books, DVD’s, backpack kits, magazines, newspapers, ebooks, downloadable audio, Gale Courses, many e-Resources and so much more.
You don’t need a library card to attend any of our programs or visit the library.
The library is part of the Waggin System and involves a shared collection with over 20 libraries.
The library provides many different learning programs throughout the year that also includes:
- GALE free online courses
- LIBBY - free app for borrowing digital and audiobooks
- Interlibrary book loans
- Activities for all ages
- Summer reading program
- Seasonal storytime programs
Other services:
- Free computer use and free Wi-Fi
- Low-cost printing and fax services
- We have a community room available for rent
